Job summary

Ericsson GmbH in Noida seeks a Telecom Automation & Middleware Engineer with hands-on Python automation, Linux/Unix, and TIBCO MFT experience to automate operational processes and manage telecom data feeds within OSS environments.

You will automate workflows, troubleshoot incidents, and contribute to feed validation and data processing across telecom inventory and network systems. This role emphasizes collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in telecom automation and middleware.
• Proficient Python scripting for automation of workflows and data processing.
• Strong Linux/Unix skills for operations and troubleshooting.
• Experience with TIBCO MFT or similar middleware for file transfers.
• Knowledge of telecom inventory and feed management processes.
• Understanding of OSS environments and data flows in telecom.
• Basic cloud knowledge and exposure to cloud concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python automation scripts for operational workflows, file processing, validation, reconciliation, monitoring, and reporting.
• Perform Linux/Unix operations including file handling, process monitoring, log analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Manage TIBCO MFT file transfers, including inbound/outbound feeds and delivery issues.
• Monitor telecom data feeds across OSS/BSS and network systems.
• Validate feeds, reconcile data, and investigate missing or incorrect files.
• Support telecom inventory data processing and discrepancy resolution.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation.
• Maintain operational and automation documentation.

What you will do

Role Summary

We are looking for a Telecom Automation & Middleware Engineer with hands‑on experience in Python automation, Linux/Unix, TIBCO MFT, telecom inventory, and feed management. The role involves automating operational processes, managing telecom data/file feeds, troubleshooting system issues, and supporting OSS environments.

• Develop and maintain Python automation scripts for operational workflows, file processing, validation, reconciliation, monitoring, and reporting.
• Perform Linux/Unix operations, including file handling, process monitoring, log analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Manage TIBCO MFT file transfers, including inbound/outbound feeds, failed transfers, delays, and delivery issues.
• Monitor and manage telecom data feeds across OSS/BSS and network systems.
• Perform feed validation, reconciliation, and investigation of missing, delayed, duplicate, or incorrect files.
• Support telecom inventory data processing, validation, and discrepancy resolution.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate with OSS, middleware, network, and application teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation.
• Maintain operational and automation documentation.
