Job summary

Closeloop Technologies seeks a Techno-Functional Zuora Specialist to join our Business Technology team in India. The role blends hands-on Zuora Billing and knowledge of Zuora Revenue to configure revenue rules and align them with business policies.

You will drive the end-to-end subscription monetization lifecycle—billing, revenue, payments, and API integrations with CPQ, e-commerce, and ERP systems such as NetSuite.

Qualifications

• Must have 7–10 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on Zuora Billing experience and Zuora Revenue knowledge.
• Experience configuring Zuora Revenue fundamentals, including revenue contract grouping and POB templates.
• Strong understanding of one-time, recurring, and usage-based billing and integration with CPQ/e-commerce.
• Experience with payment gateways and Alternative Payment Methods (APMs).
• Expertise with Zuora REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Experience integrating Zuora with ERP systems (NetSuite) and Avalara.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support Zuora Billing across one-time, recurring, and usage-based billing models.
• Configure Zuora Revenue fundamentals, including revenue contract grouping, POB templates, SSP allocation, and revenue rule alignment.
• Ensure billing and revenue configurations align with business policies and subscription lifecycle requirements.
• Support invoicing, revenue recognition, and reconciliation processes across Billing and Revenue modules.
• Configure and troubleshoot payment gateways and end-to-end payment transaction flows.
• Work hands-on with Alternative Payment Methods (APMs) such as GCash, PayPal, and digital wallets.
• Support payment processor integrations such as Adyen and similar platforms.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations using Zuora REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, notifications, and middleware platforms.
• Ensure seamless integration between Zuora, CPQ, e-commerce platforms, ERP systems, and payment providers.
• Monitor billing, payment, and revenue processes to ensure operational stability.
• Troubleshoot production issues across Billing, Revenue, payment gateways, and enterprise integrations.
• Support UAT, production releases, and post-deployment validation activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, and runbooks.
• Ensure compliance with change management processes and secure handling of financial data.
• Translate monetization requirements into scalable Zuora solutions with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable configuring Zuora Revenue fundamentals, including revenue contract grouping, POB template configuration, SSP allocation, and alignment of revenue recognition rules with business policies.

This is a hands-on techno-functional role responsible for supporting the end-to-end subscription monetization lifecycle, including Zuora Billing, Revenue, payment gateway integrations, API-based integrations, and production support. The ideal candidate will bridge business requirements with technical implementation to deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient subscription management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support Zuora Billing across one-time, recurring, and usage-based billing models.
• Configure Zuora Revenue fundamentals, including revenue contract grouping, POB templates, SSP allocation, and revenue rule alignment.
• Ensure billing and revenue configurations align with business policies and subscription lifecycle requirements.
• Support invoicing, revenue recognition, and reconciliation processes across Billing and Revenue modules.

Payments & Integrations

• Configure and troubleshoot payment gateways and end-to-end payment transaction flows.
• Work hands-on with Alternative Payment Methods (APMs) such as GCash, PayPal, digital wallets, and regional payment methods, including account linking, authorization, settlement, refunds, retries, and currency handling.
• Support payment processor integrations such as Adyen and similar platforms.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations using Zuora REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, notifications, and middleware platforms.
• Ensure seamless integration between Zuora, CPQ, e-commerce platforms, ERP systems, and payment providers.

Operations & Support

• Monitor billing, payment, and revenue processes to ensure operational stability.
• Troubleshoot production issues across Billing, Revenue, payment gateways, and enterprise integrations.
• Support UAT, production releases, and post-deployment validation activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, Postman collections, and operational runbooks.
• Ensure compliance with change management processes and secure handling of financial and customer data.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand monetization requirements and translate them into scalable Zuora solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, Finance, and Product teams throughout implementation and support activities.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices for Zuora Billing, Revenue, Payments, and enterprise integrations.

• Strong hands-on experience with payment gateway integrations and Alternative Payment Methods (APMs) such as GCash, PayPal, digital wallets, Adyen, or similar payment platforms.
• Strong technical expertise in Zuora REST/SOAP APIs, enterprise integrations, and end-to-end transaction troubleshooting.
• Experience integrating Zuora with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite) and Avalara for tax configuration and compliance.
• Solid understanding of subscription lifecycle, billing operations, payment processing, revenue recognition, and financial reconciliation.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills with the ability to bridge functional requirements and technical implementation.
