Job summary

Flex is seeking a Techno-Functional Business Analyst in Chennai, India to bridge business needs with IT delivery. You will gather requirements, document processes, write use cases and user stories, and translate them into technical specs for SAAS integrations.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, run workshops, analyze data, create prototypes, and assist test planning to ensure solutions meet requirements while supporting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with SAAS products (Ivalua/Ariba/SNC) is a plus.
• Proficiency in documenting requirements using use cases and user stories.
• Familiarity with BA methodologies, frameworks and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business needs and requirements.
• Conduct analysis of existing processes and workflows to identify improvements.
• Create detailed documentation including BRD, process flows, use cases and user stories.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Techno functional Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective solutions.

What a typical day looks like:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business needs, objectives, and requirements.
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
• Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories.
• Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure proper implementation.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews to elicit information from stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
• Develop prototypes or mockups to visualize solutions and gather feedback from stakeholders.
• Assist in creating test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and accuracy of implemented solutions.
• Provide support during the testing phase, addressing any issues and ensuring that solutions meet the defined requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, designers, and other team members to ensure project success.
• Monitor and evaluate implemented solutions to track their effectiveness and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in a relevant industry.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• SQL knowledge is desirable and considered as an added advantage.
• Experiencing working with SAAS products is plus like Ivalua/e2open/SNC/Ariba etc..
• Proficiency in documenting requirements using tools such as use cases, user stories, process flows, and wireframes.
• Familiarity with business analysis methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools is a plus.
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is desirable but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of specific domain or industry trends relevant to the organization is beneficial.
