Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Techno-Commercial Executive with 5+ years of experience to bridge the gap between our technical IT infrastructure requirements and business commercial operations. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end IT procurement, vendor management, pre-sales proposal evaluation, and cost optimization. The ideal candidate possesses a strong baseline understanding of IT systems (cloud, networking, data centers) paired with exceptional negotiation, budgeting, and contract management skills.

Commercial Management & Budgeting

• Cost Estimation: Prepare and review comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and detailed cost estimates for IT infrastructure projects.
• Comparative Analysis: Analyze vendor quotes, build detailed commercial comparative statements, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on technical standards.
• Budget Tracking: Monitor project spend against allocated budgets, manage profit margins, and handle billing reconciliation with finance teams.
• Vendor Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors, OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), and system integrators.
• Negotiation: Lead negotiations on pricing, payment terms, SLAs (Service Level Agreements), delivery timelines, and warranty extensions.
• PO Lifecycle: Generate and track Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring timely delivery and contract compliance.
• Tender & RFP Operations: Assist in creating, reviewing, and responding to RFPs, RFQs, and government/private tenders.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with technical engineering teams to translate complex architecture plans into viable commercial strategies.

Contract & Compliance Management

• Contract Review: Review Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), licensing renewals (software/SaaS), and software asset compliance.
• Risk Mitigation: Ensure all procurement and vendor agreements align with company legal guidelines and data privacy policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in B.E. / B.Tech (IT, Computer Science, ECE) or BCA/MCA. An MBA in Supply Chain, Finance, or Operations is highly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in IT infra procurement, IT pre-sales, or a techno-commercial capacity.
• Technical Familiarity: Broad working knowledge of enterprise IT systems including servers, storage, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), networking (firewalls, switches), cybersecurity tools, and workplace hardware.
• Software Proficiency: High expertise in Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, financial modeling) and experience working with ERP tools (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, excellent English communication skills (written and verbal), and sharp negotiation tactics.
