Job summary

USAM Technology Solutions is seeking a Techno-commercial Engineer - QC/QA Analyst (Mechanical) in Coimbatore. The role focuses on quality inspection, dimensional measurement, and ensuring conformance with engineering drawings and GD&T.

You will inspect components using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and operate a CMM. You will document inspection results, coordinate with production and engineering, and support quotations and the sales cycle as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in quality inspection and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Hands-on with precision measuring instruments and CMM.
• Familiarity with aerospace/automobile/precision engineering sectors preferred.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Techno commercial Engineer - QC/QA Analyst – Mechanical with experience in quality inspection, dimensional measurement, quality control, and manufacturing processes, preferably from the Aerospace, Automobile, or Precision Engineering industry.

The candidate will be responsible for inspection, measurement, quality documentation, and coordination with production and engineering teams to ensure products meet required specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Engineer on the software – Quality inspection software.
• Take calls to the customer for the Need of Software understand the need and architect the solution.
• Perform Demo on the software.
• Understand the key pitch in the software and deliver to the customer.
• Draft Quotations and ability to take into the sales cycle and close the order.
• Performed quality inspection and dimensional inspection of components and assemblies.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and quality requirements.
• Conduct inspection using precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.
• Operate or working with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) for dimensional inspection.
• Knowledge of Preparing and maintaining inspection reports, quality records, and documentation.
• Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, and dimensional tolerances.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Processes.
• Experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance / Inspection.
• Knowledge of CMM and dimensional measurement techniques.
• Good understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Hands‑on experience with precision measuring instruments.
• Exposure to Aerospace / Automobile / Precision Engineering manufacturing will be preferred.
• Good analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
