Job summary

E-trnl Energy in Bengaluru is seeking a Quality Technician to support R&D, pilot trials, and manufacturing with hands-on testing, inspection, and data collection. You will help ensure measurement accuracy and instrument reliability in a fast-paced deep-tech environment.

You will work with Quality and R&D teams to maintain data integrity, follow SOPs and safety rules, and apply basic GD&T concepts while growing your metrology and instrumentation skills for consistent product quality.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Automobile or related engineering with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience or interest in laboratory testing, inspection, metrology, instrumentation, or production quality.
• Ability to follow test methods, SOPs, safety requirements, and data integrity practices with strong attention to detail.
• Analytical, problem-solving and collaborative mindset with willingness to learn in an R&D environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and experimental QC testing for R&D, pilot trials, and manufacturing activities.
• Operate, maintain, and perform routine checks of laboratory instruments and measurement equipment.
• Perform dimensional inspection using metrology tools and apply basic GD&T concepts.
• Record and analyze test data, identify abnormalities or variability, and support R&D and Quality teams in implementing improved quality practices.

Preferred candidate profile :

As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality function supporting R&D, pilot trials, and manufacturing activities. You will be responsible for hands-on testing, inspection, measurement, and data collection across materials, components, processes, and products.

The role involves working closely with Quality and R&D teams to ensure reliable measurements, accurate data, proper equipment handling, and consistent quality practices. You will also get exposure to metrology, laboratory instrumentation, GD&T, and experimental quality methods in a fast-paced deep-tech environment.

What You Will Do(Role & responsibilities)
