Job summary

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. is seeking a Packing Operator for its OSD plant in an FDA-regulated manufacturing facility. The role involves operating and monitoring tablet/capsule packing lines and ensuring adherence to cGMP and company SOPs.

You will perform in-process checks, maintain accurate records, and support cleaning and changeovers. The position requires 1–3 years in pharmaceutical packing and a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical packing operations (OSD preferred).
• Knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and documentation practices.
• Ability to work in a controlled environment and follow strict SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate blister packing machines, bottle filling lines per batch records.
• Perform in-process checks (pack integrity, labeling, batch coding) and document results.
• Execute cleaning, changeovers, and preventive maintenance per SOPs.
• Maintain production records with data integrity (ALCOA+).
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate major problems to maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
