Job summary

TÜV SÜD South Asia Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled lab professional to join the textile testing team in Tirupur, India. You will support routine laboratory testing, adhere to QMS requirements, and help maintain calibration and records.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience and a background in textile-related science, with the position operating onsite in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/Diploma in Textile or BSc Chemistry relevant to the role.
• 3-5 years of experience in a related department.
• Familiar with quality systems and laboratory workflows.

Your Tasks

• Understand and follow the quality management system documents relevant to the jobs & responsibilities.
• Ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of data / information generated.
• To perform the testing as per the correct test standard.
• Responsible for training to new technician / analyst.
• Execution of the corrective and preventive actions.
• To maintain the technical records.
• Responsible for validation of methods and calibration of the instruments.
• To ensure initial observations, necessary data, and calculations are recorded at the time they are made.
• Inform the lab supervisor of any kind of equipment breakdown, fault or any kind of irrelevant test results.
• Timely disposal of samples.
• Preparation of standard solutions and maintaining records for the same. Checking validity and purity of CRM (as per applicability).
• Calibration and Verification of equipment.
• Following the technology process (barcode etc) and using the data.
• Implementing the projects of continual improvement projects.
• Develop new tests as per business and customer requirements.

Your Qualification

B. Tech/Diploma in Textile or BSC chemistry, Textile related

Experiance in relavent department for 3-5 years
