The Technician will support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the Endoscopy Unit, including Endoscopy, Manometry, and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS). The role involves assisting consultants during procedures, managing equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of clinical hygiene and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during endoscopy, manometry, and EUS procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms, ensure availability and functionality of instruments and equipment.
• Handle pre- and post-procedure patient preparation and positioning.
• Perform equipment sterilization, cleaning, and reprocessing following hospital guidelines.
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide required support.
• Manage consumables, maintain stock, and report shortages.
• Maintain procedure records, reports, and equipment logs.
• Follow all infection‑control, safety, and quality protocols as per NABH standards.
