Job summary

Felix Hospital in Greater Noida invites applications for a Cath Lab Technician in the Cardiology department. The role involves assisting cardiologists during catheterization and interventional procedures, preparing lab equipment, maintaining sterility, and supporting post-procedure care.

The ideal candidate holds a B.Sc./Diploma in Cath Lab Technology, 1–5 years of Cath Lab experience, and is capable of shift work, including emergency/on-call duties. Prior NABH/compliance awareness is desirable.

Qualifications

• Qualification: B.Sc./Diploma in Cath Lab Technology or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of relevant Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures, Cath Lab equipment, infection control, and patient safety.
• Ability to work in shifts, including emergency/on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Prepare and arrange Cath Lab equipment, instruments, consumables, and emergency supplies before procedures.
• Operate and assist with Cath Lab equipment as per hospital protocols.
• Assist in procedures such as CAG, PTCA/PCI, angiography, and other cardiac interventions.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure infection-control standards are followed.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of Cath Lab consumables and equipment.
• Ensure proper cleaning, sterilization, and readiness of instruments and equipment.
• Assist in patient preparation, positioning, transfer, and post-procedure care.
• Maintain procedure records, checklists, and documentation.
• Coordinate with cardiologists, nurses, technicians, and other clinical departments.
• Follow radiation safety, NABH, and hospital policies and protocols.
• Handle emergency situations and assist the clinical team during code/emergency procedures.
