Umanist NA is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writing Specialist to translate complex software features into clear documentation. You will collaborate with product, engineering, QA, and support to produce guides, API references, and knowledge-base articles.

The role requires 2–5 years in technical writing, strong editing skills, and familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, Markdown, and tools like Confluence, Notion, Git, Swagger/OpenAPI. Content quality must align with product updates.

• 2-5 years of experience in Technical Writing, Technical Content Development, Product Documentation, or a related field.
• Strong ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them through simple, structured, and reader-friendly content.
• Hands-on experience creating API references, product manuals, integration guides, and knowledge-base articles.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain functional guides, technical references, integration manuals, FAQs, and online help resources.
• Translate software features, system workflows, and technical processes into clear and structured documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, product, QA, and support teams to gather and validate technical information.
• Prepare reference materials covering API functionality, system integrations, configurations, and data exchange processes.
• Create user manuals, implementation guides, troubleshooting documents, and step-by-step process instructions.
• Review existing content and update documentation in line with product changes and technical enhancements.
• Maintain consistency in documentation formats, terminology, writing standards, and content organization.
• Develop relevant content based on user requirements to improve product understanding and usability.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure documentation is available for new feature releases and enhancements.
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback to improve documentation quality and accuracy.
• Maintain organized documentation repositories and revision history using appropriate tools.

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional responsible for developing clear, structured, and user-friendly technical content. The role involves understanding software functionalities, technical processes, and product workflows and converting them into documentation that can be easily understood by technical and non-technical audiences.

The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, prepare technical resources, and ensure documentation remains accurate and updated.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience in B2B SaaS platforms, software products, or e-commerce technology will be a good fit.

• 2-5 years of experience in Technical Writing, Technical Content Development, Product Documentation, or a related field.
• Strong ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them through simple, structured, and reader-friendly content.
• Hands-on experience creating API references, product manuals, integration guides, and knowledge-base articles.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and basic software development concepts.
• Familiarity with Confluence, Notion, Git, Markdown, Swagger/OpenAPI, or similar documentation platforms.
• Understanding of software product workflows, system functionalities, and technical integrations.
• Excellent written communication, research, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
