Job summary

HCLTech in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Aerospace Technical Publications specialist to author and revise CMM, CMP and AMM for aircraft components and systems. You will work with Framemaker, Arbortext Epic Editor and CSDB, with exposure to Teamcenter and Ennovia, XML/SGML, and S1000D standards.

You will create assembly, disassembly and repair procedures and interpret engineering drawings, driving changes via SB/ECN/TR data while leveraging Isodraw and Catia where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in authoring CMM, CMP, AMM for aircraft components and systems.
• Strong knowledge of Framemaker, Arbortext Epic Editor and CSDB.
• Experience with PLM tools such as Teamcenter and Ennovia.
• Familiar with XML, SGML and resolving parsing errors.
• Strong knowledge of ATA100 and iSpec 2200 S1000D.
• Experience writing assembly, disassembly and repair procedures.
• Knowledge of Isodraw, 3DVIA and Catia is a plus.
• Knowledge of ASD-STE Simplified English.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and change drivers (SB, ECN, TR, SIL, ATP).

Responsibilities

• Create or revise CMM, CMP, AMM for aircraft components and systems.
• Resolve XML/SGML parsing issues and ensure data integrity.
• Apply aerospace standards like ATA100 and S1000D in publications.
• Draft assembly, disassembly and repair procedures.
• Leverage tools such as Framemaker, Isodraw, Catia for publication tasks.
• Interpret engineering drawings to incorporate change drivers.

• Experience in Creation/revision of Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), Component Maintenance Publications (CMP), Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) etc. for Aircraft Components and Systems.
• Strong working knowledge on Adobe Framemaker, Arbortext Epic Editor and Common Source Database (CSDB).
• Working knowledge on PLM tools like Teamcenter and Ennovia.
• Familiar with XML, SGML, and resolving the XML parsing errors.
• Strong knowledge of Technical Publications Aerospace Standards ATA100, iSpec 2200 S1000D.
• Experience in writing Assembly, Disassembly & Repair procedures.
• Working knowledge of illustration tools (Isodraw), 3DVIA and Catia will add advantage.
• Working Knowledge on Simplified English standard ASD-STE.
• Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and change drivers (Service Bulletin, Service Newsletter, ECN, TR, SIL, ATP etc.).

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Industry experience with experience in Authoring of CMM, AMM
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (B.E/M.E or B.tech/M.tech)
