• Proven experience developing IPCs, Spare Parts Manuals, Component Catalogs, and Interactive 3D Publications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain IPCs, Spare Parts Catalogs, Parts Manuals, RSPL, and Service Parts Documentation.
• Create exploded views, assembly/disassembly sequences, and interactive product visualizations.
• Publish interactive 3D content for maintenance, parts identification, and service applications.
• Collaborate with engineering to transform CAD data into customer-facing technical publications.
• Drive adoption of 3D and interactive content technologies and improve user experience.

Job Summary

Looking for well experienced Parts & 3D Technical Publications Specialist to develop and maintain Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC), Parts Manuals, Spare Parts Documentation, and Interactive 3D Technical Publications for automotive industry.

The candidate will work closely with Engineering, Product Support, Service, Aftermarket, Manufacturing, and Digital Documentation teams to create accurate, interactive, and customer-focused parts information.

Key Responsibilities

• Parts Documentation Development
• Develop, update, and maintain:
• Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC)
• Spare Parts Catalog
• Parts Manuals
• Recommended Spare Parts Lists (RSPL)
• Service Parts Documentation
• Create detailed parts identification and parts provisioning information.
• Ensure parts data accuracy, interchangeability information, and

configuration applicability.

• Manage documentation updates resulting from engineering changes and

field feedback.

3D Technical Publications

• Develop and publish interactive 3D technical content for maintenance, parts

identification, and service applications.

• Generate exploded views, assembly/disassembly sequences, and

interactive product visualizations.

• Support creation of digital work instructions and visualization-based

technical content.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to transform CAD data into customer-

facing technical publications.

• Drive adoption of 3D and interactive content technologies.
• Improve user experience through visualization and digital publication

capabilities.

• Support integration of technical publications with aftermarket and service

platforms.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Automotive Engineering/Industrial Engineering or Related Engineering Discipline

Experience

9 yrs of experience in technical publications or parts documentation in automotive industry

• Proven experience developing:
• Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC)
• Spare Parts Manuals
• Component Catalogs
• Interactive 3D Publications

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge on:
• Product structures and assemblies
• BOM management
• Configuration management
• Engineering change processes
• Technical illustration standards
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and CAD data.
• Experience with interactive 3D publishing environments.
