Job summary

Outworx Solutions is seeking a Technical Author in Bangalore with 2+ years' experience in aerospace technical publications. You will create, modify, and revise AMM content, ensuring accuracy and consistency across manuals.

Responsibilities include proofreading, interpreting engineering drawings, and applying aerospace tech data processes. Knowledge of ATA iSpec 2200 and S1000D standards is essential, with knowledge of aircraft systems benefiting the role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in aerospace technical publications.
• Creation/modification/revision of AMM content.

• Proficiency with ATA iSpec 2200 and S1000D standards.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify and revise AMM content accurately.
• Perform proofreading; preferred for candidates currently doing proofreading.
• Interpret and analyze engineering drawings for technical publications.
• Maintain knowledge of aircraft systems and related tech data processes.

• 2 to 20 years of experience in Aerospace Technical Publications.
• Creation/modification/revision of the manual content for the AMM.
• Candidate currently performing Proofreading activity will be preferred.
• Should have knowledge of Aerospace Tech Data process.
• Knowledge on ATA iSpec 2200 and S1000D standards.
• Analyzing and interpretation of engineering drawings.
• Should have Aircraft and systems knowledge. Working knowledge of LMP activities will be additional advantage.
• Should have good working knowledge of Technical Publication tools eg: GIPSY/GIDOCA/ZAMIZ/IMS/SAP.
