Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Journalism, English, Communications, or equivalent.
• 8–10 years in technical documentation/writer roles.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical/Medical devices/Healthcare verticals or regulatory environments.
• Proven high‑quality technical writing for pharmaceutical/medical device documentation.
• Knowledge of HTML and XML basics is advantageous.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to produce documentation and multimedia content.
• Video creation or instructional design experience.
• Knowledge of UX writing principles.
• Exposure to API or developer documentation.
• Experience with chatbots or AI‑based systems.
• Experience writing IQ and OQ documents is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, plan, create, maintain, and upgrade product documentation and videos.
• Design modular content for knowledge bases and optimize for AI‑driven search.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Integrate AI workflows to improve documentation quality and turnaround times.
• Script and produce product tutorials and training videos using Camtasia, Descript, or similar.

The Technical Writer will provide high‑quality documentation for pharmaceutical, medical device, and healthcare products.

Qualifications

• Educational qualification: Degree or diploma in Journalism, English, Communications, or equivalent.
• Experience: 8 to 10 years in technical documentation/writer role.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical/Medical devices/Healthcare verticals or related regulatory environment.
• Proven experience in high‑quality technical writing for Pharmaceutical/Medical devices/Healthcare product documentation.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other tools such as Confluence, MadCap Flare, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal skills in English. Excellent understanding of English grammar, style, and writing standards.
• Understanding of HTML and XML basics (advantage).
• Expertise in AI‑assisted content engineering, leveraging advanced LLMs and video synthesis tools to produce high‑quality technical documentation and multimedia tutorials at scale.
• Experience in video creation or instructional design.
• Knowledge of UX writing principles.
• Exposure to API or developer documentation.
• Experience working with chatbots or AI‑based systems.
• Experience in writing IQ and OQ documents for the pharmaceutical domain is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Documentation & Knowledge Systems: Conceptualize, plan, create, maintain, and upgrade high‑quality product documentation ranging from user manuals, guides, online help, IQ/OQ documents, product brochures, how‑to articles, technical reference (API), concepts, release notes, training material, and videos. Work with cross‑functional teams to produce high‑quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience. Design structured, reusable, and modular content for knowledge bases. Optimize documentation for AI‑driven search and chatbot consumption. Participate in hands‑on quality testing of new products to understand product and documentation requirements. Edit, standardize, or modify material prepared by other writers. Drive innovation and experiment with new‑age content formats and information architecture. Identify opportunities to improve quality, usability, and productivity. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure clarity, completeness, accuracy, and compliance to organizational standards in documentation and video creation.
• AI‑Assisted Content Development: Optimize documentation workflows by integrating AI tools, reducing turnaround times and enhancing content quality through automated drafting and style‑checking. Develop and manage prompts for internal AI assistants and support bots. Review and validate AI‑generated content for accuracy and clarity.
• Video & Tutorial Content Creation: Script and produce product tutorials, walkthroughs, and training videos. Use tools like Camtasia, Descript, or Synthesia. Convert documentation into engaging visual learning content.
• UX Writing & Product Content: Write clear UI text, tooltips, onboarding flows, and error messages. Ensure consistency in product language and tone across platforms.
• Self‑Service & Support Optimization: Build and improve knowledge bases and help centers. Analyze user queries and identify content gaps. Reduce support tickets through effective documentation.
