Job summary

AMS Human Resources is seeking a dedicated technical trainer to lead apprentice training at the Buhler Academy in Karnataka, India.

You will deliver theory and practical training on drilling, milling and lathe, coordinate timetables, recruit trainees, and ensure timely completion of programs. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential, with prior teaching or training center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• To impart technical training (theory and practicals) to Apprentices / trainees in Buhler Academy to enhance their skill
• To support in running other programs in Academy
• To maintain the Academy workshop (machines, tools, equipments etc.)
• Responsibilities include planning oo trainings, recruitment of trainees, preparing timetables, evaluation of trainees.
• Co-ordination with internal stake holders MLS, CS, PE etc.
• Co-ordination with external stakeholders teachers / consultants, SkillSonics, DGET etc.
• Conduct the classes as per the time table
• Conduct practical trainings on machines such as Drilling, Milling, Lathe and Grinding machines and maintaining tools, equipments.
• Coordinate with teachers / departments for timely completion of trainings planned.
• Evaluation of trainees / conducting timely examination for all trainees and keeping track of their progress
• Guiding trainees in projects, presentations, site visits etc.
• Weekly and monthly progress reports to supervisor and stake holders

Preferred candidate profile

• Mechanical Diploma / BE with a technical training background.
• Hands-on knowledge of operating and troubleshooting conventional machines such as Lathe, Milling and Drilling machines.
• Experience in similar industries or technical training centres would be preferred.
• Ability to train, guide and develop apprentices/trainees.
• Good communication, presentation, coordination and networking skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
