Qualifications

Senior Technical Instructor Control-M

Position Summary

The Senior Technical Instructor Control-M is a recognized subject matter expert responsible for delivering advanced technical education and driving learning excellence across BMC's Control-M portfolio. This role combines deep workload automation expertise, instructional design leadership, customer engagement, mentoring, and strategic enablement to support customers, partners, consultants, and internal teams worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Training Delivery

• Deliver advanced instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, and workshop-based training globally.
• Facilitate complex hands‑on labs and architecture‑focused sessions.
• Train diverse audiences, including administrators, developers, architects, consultants, and enterprise automation teams.
• Provide guidance on best practices, implementation strategies, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Content Development & Curriculum Ownership

• Serve as curriculum owner for assigned Control‑M learning paths.
• Design, develop, and maintain advanced courseware, labs, assessments, videos, and certification materials.
• Ensure training content aligns with new product releases and evolving customer requirements.
• Drive modernization of learning experiences through digital learning and AI‑enabled content creation tools.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in technical training, consulting, implementation, or enterprise software support.
• Extensive experience delivering technical education to enterprise customers.
• Demonstrated expertise in workload automation and enterprise scheduling solutions.
• Experience developing advanced technical courseware and hands‑on labs.

Technical Skills

• Expert knowledge of Control‑M architecture, administration, and implementation.
• Strong understanding of:
