The role combines hands-on engineering, Level 3 troubleshooting and field commissioning with people leadership, customer escalation management and SLA/KPI delivery for mission-critical process automation environments.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in process automation
• 3+ years of onsite commissioning, startup, SAT, troubleshooting or field engineering experience
• Strong expertise in Foxboro DCS and Triconex SIS
• Exposure to industrial networking and OT cybersecurity is a plus

Process Automation Lead Triconex & Foxboro

Location: Bangalore, India | Experience: 8–12+ Years

We are seeking an experienced Process Automation Lead / Technical Support Team Lead with strong expertise in Foxboro DCS and Triconex SIS to lead technical support and high-severity escalations across India and APAC. The role combines hands‑on engineering, Level 3 troubleshooting, field commissioning, people leadership, and customer escalation management for mission‑critical Process Automation environments.

The ideal candidate will independently diagnose complex DCS/SIS hardware, software, controller, communication, and network failures, while leading L1/L2 support teams and driving timely resolution of plant‑critical incidents. Strong exposure to Foxboro Evo, EcoStruxure Foxboro DCS, I/A Series, FCP270/FCP280, FBM modules, Control Editor, FoxView/FoxDraw, and related diagnostic tools is required.

Hands‑on Triconex SIS experience including TriStation 1131, Main Processors, I/O modules, TCM/NCM, ESD systems, SOE analysis, SIL3, IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 is highly desirable.

The role also requires expertise in industrial networking and protocols, including Foxboro MESH, Nodebus, Modbus TCP/RTU, OPC DA/UA, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, VLANs, redundancy, and network troubleshooting. Exposure to Wonderware/AVEVA, ArchestrA, Historian, OI Servers and OT Cybersecurity/IEC 62443 is an advantage.

Candidates must have 3+ years of onsite commissioning, startup, SAT, troubleshooting or field engineering experience, along with proven team leadership, mentoring, SLA/KPI management, RCA, customer escalation handling, and APAC stakeholder management experience.

Education: BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication, Electrical/Electronics or related engineering discipline.
