Job summary

Siemens is seeking an Expert House Engineer – Automation to oversee end-to-end service delivery for DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI, and related automation solutions. You will manage projects, proposals, and lifecycle services across process and discrete industries, ensuring high system availability and customer satisfaction through proactive engagement.

The role requires 6–12 years of hands-on experience in electronics, instrumentation, or electrical engineering and travel to multiple sites as needed.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical with 6–10 years of experience.
• Diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical with 8–12 years of experience.
• Experience in automation projects and lifecycle services is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end service delivery and customer satisfaction for assigned customers.
• Manage and monitor automation service projects, upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
• Prepare technical proposals and solution concepts based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate with customers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to ensure timely project execution.
• Support commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and lifecycle services.
• Drive timely resolution of customer issues and escalations.
• Deliver high-quality Automation services and solutions for Process and Discrete industries.
• Build strong customer relationships and generate service business leads.

Expert House Engineer – Automation

Role Summary

Responsible for customer-focused service delivery, project monitoring, proposal support, project execution, and lifecycle services for DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI, and industrial automation solutions across Process and Discrete Industries. Ensure successful project delivery, high system availability, and customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and quality service execution.

Required Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, or related discipline with 6–10 years of experience.
• Diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, or related discipline with 8–12 years of experience.
