Job summary

The role includes 24x7 support with rotational shifts, rigorous adherence to SLAs, and strong communication with users and stakeholders. Full-time employment in multiple locations across India.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAN, NAS and DAS systems and cloud storage solutions.
• Experience managing data in cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with cloud file storage services and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to users through multiple channels.
• Own and resolve technical cases end-to-end while meeting SLAs.
• Set up and tear down cloud resources (servers, storage, networks) as needed.
• Maintain accurate configurations and documentation of systems and procedures.

TCS hiring for Technical Support - Storage

Experience: 3-7 Years

Location: Chennai / Gandhinagar and Indore

Job responsibilities include but not limited to –

Job Requirements*

• Experience and proven exposure with SAN, NAS, and DAS systems, and cloud storage solutions
• Experience in managing, securing, and optimizing an organization's data within cloud-based storage platforms like Google Cloud, AWS, Azure
• Should have managed roles on the Google Cloud Filestore service, Google Cloud Netapp Volume (GCNV) and maintained the scalable, managed cloud file storage system
• Regularly updating and maintaining the system to ensure optimal performance and security
• Exposure in configuring and managing network devices and services
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
• Identifying, resolving technical issues, and diagnosing the root cause of technical problems, whether hardware, software, or network-related
• Providing technical assistance to users, both internal and external, through various channels
• Communicating technical information clearly and concisely to users and stakeholders
• Setting up and tearing down cloud resources (servers, storage, networks) as needed
• Ensuring consistent and secure configurations across the cloud environment

Key Responsibilities*

• Support with 24x7 operations (Rotational Shifts)
• Own and resolve technical cases end-to-end
• Meet defined SLAs and quality benchmarks while handling customer communications.

Minimum 15 years of education (10th + 12th + Graduation)

Minimum 4+ years of relevant IT experience
