Job summary

Bluehost in India is seeking a T4 Support Engineer focused on Agentic Hosting to tackle the most complex technical issues, enable cutting-edge use cases, and help shape next-gen hosting for AI-powered workloads.

You will own escalations across VPS and dedicated hosting, support Node.js/Next.js stacks, troubleshoot AlmaLinux issues, mentor colleagues, and contribute to internal playbooks in a collaborative, inclusive environment offering flexible work options.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in Linux system administration (AlmaLinux, CentOS, or similar).
• Strong understanding of web hosting infrastructure (DNS, networking, security, performance tuning).
• Hands-on experience with modern frameworks (Node.js, Next.js) and developer workflows.
• Familiarity with containers, APIs, and AI-driven or automated application patterns is a strong plus.
• Clear, confident communication, you can translate complex technical issues for engineers, product managers, and customers alike.

Responsibilities

• Own and resolve the most complex technical escalations across VPS, Dedicated, and hosting environments.
• Support modern development stacks including Node.js and Next.js in diverse customer environments.
• Troubleshoot performance, networking, and system-level issues on AlmaLinux and related platforms.
• Partner directly with Product and Engineering on emerging platforms — N8N, Hermes, OpenClaw, and agentic tooling.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for T3 teams and mentor support engineers on advanced troubleshooting.
• Identify patterns across customer issues and drive systemic fixes or product improvements.
• Build and contribute to internal documentation, playbooks, and best practices for next-generation hosting support.
• Work on problems that don’t have playbooks yet. You’ll write them.
