Job summary

Bluehost is seeking a highly skilled T4 Support Engineer focused on Agentic Hosting in Mumbai. You will own and resolve the most complex escalations across VPS, Dedicated, and hosting environments, and mentor junior engineers.

You’ll work with Node.js, Next.js, and containerized apps, troubleshooting performance, networking, and system issues on AlmaLinux. You’ll collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape next-gen hosting and AI-powered workloads.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in Linux system administration (AlmaLinux, CentOS, or similar).
• Strong understanding of web hosting infrastructure (DNS, networking, security, performance tuning).
• Hands-on experience with modern frameworks (Node.js, Next.js) and developer workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own and resolve the most complex technical escalations across VPS, Dedicated, and advanced hosting environments, end-to-end.
• Support modern development stacks including Node.js, Next.js, and containerized applications across diverse customer environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, networking, and system-level issues on AlmaLinux and related platforms.
• Partner directly with Product and Engineering on emerging platforms — N8N, Hermes, OpenClaw, and agentic tooling — shaping how we support the future of hosting.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for T3 teams and actively mentor support engineers on advanced troubleshooting.
• Identify patterns across customer issues and drive systemic fixes or product improvements — not just one-off resolutions.
• Build and contribute to internal documentation, playbooks, and best practices for next-generation hosting support.
• Work on problems that don't have playbooks yet. You'll write them.

As a T4 Support Engineer focused on Agentic Hosting, you will handle the most complex technical issues, enable cutting-edge use cases, and help shape how we support modern development frameworks and AI-powered workloads.

Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed.

• Deep experience in Linux system administration (AlmaLinux, CentOS, or similar)
• Strong understanding of web hosting infrastructure (DNS, networking, security, performance tuning)
• Hands-on experience with modern frameworks (Node.js, Next.js) and developer workflows
• Familiarity with containers, APIs, and AI-driven or automated application patterns is a strong plus
• Clear, confident communication, you can translate complex technical issues for engineers, product managers, and customers alike.
