Job summary

Inspirisys in India is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to deliver day-to-day IT support for end users and ensure smooth operation of desktops, laptops, printers, and network infrastructure.

You will install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS and MS Office, handle account and access issues, maintain assets, and resolve incidents within SLA, using ticketing tools and collaborating with network and server teams.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering L1/L2 IT support for desktop environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and MS Office.
• Familiarity with LAN concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with Active Directory and user account management.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• ITIL knowledge or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, MS Office, applications, and hardware.
• Troubleshoot basic LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network connectivity issues.
• Manage user accounts, password resets, and access-related issues.

• Handle IT incidents and service requests through ticketing tools.
• Coordinate with network, server, and other IT teams for escalations.
• Maintain IT asset and inventory records.
• Ensure timely resolution of user issues as per SLA.
