Documentation of testing processes and ensuring alignment with user requirements are essential. The candidate will create test plans, execute tests manually or automatically, and work with QA to refine testing strategies, leveraging MySQL, REST APIs, and Postman

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented PerformanceTester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs. This role involves analyzing the software, identifying any errors or glitches, and reporting back to our development team. The Manual Tester will also be responsible for documenting testing processes, troubleshooting and resolving any issues, and ensuring that the final product meets the company standards and user requirements.

Responsibilities

• The candidate will be responsible for creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• The candidate will be expected to execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
• The candidate will be responsible for reporting and documenting technical issues.
• The candidate will be expected to collaborate with the QA team to develop effective strategies and test plans.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in MySQL: The candidate must have a strong understanding of MySQL databases, including the ability to write and troubleshoot SQL code and design databases, tables, views, stored procedures, etc.
• Knowledge of REST API's: The candidate should have a solid understanding of REST API's, including how to interact with them, test them, and troubleshoot issues.
• Experience with PostMan: The candidate must have experience with PostMan for API testing, including creating and managing collections, environments, tests, and requests.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Preferred Skills

• Jenkins: Familiarity with Jenkins for continuous integration would be beneficial.
• Java: Basic knowledge of Java programming language would be an advantage.
• Jira: Experience with Jira for bug tracking and project management would be a plus.
• SOAP API: Understanding of SOAP API's would be beneficial.
• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies would be a plus.
• Selenium: Experience with Selenium for automated testing would be beneficial.
• Git: Familiarity with Git for version control would be an advantage.
• Python: Basic knowledge of Python programming language would be a plus.
• Load Testing: Experience with load testing would be beneficial.
• Test Case Documentation: Ability to document test cases clearly and effectively would be an advantage.
