Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking an experienced Functional Testing-Technical Lead for Testing Services in Bengaluru. The role requires 6–7 years of hands-on manual testing, with strong SDLC/STLC knowledge and expertise across functional, regression, smoke/sanity, and integration testing.

You will lead testing efforts, utilize test management and defect tracking tools, craft clear test cases, and validate SQL-based data tests and API tests using Postman, while coordinating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6–7 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC and testing methodologies.
• Expertise in: Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Sanity Testing, Integration Testing.
• Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
• Good understanding of database testing (SQL queries).
• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman (basic validation).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
