Job summary

Microland in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise network solutions. You will work on WAN/LAN, SD-WAN, and security platforms, ensuring robust performance and compliance across the IT landscape.

The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco, F5, Palo Alto, Meraki, and Versa, plus cloud networking exposure. Relevant certifications are a strong plus and collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Engineer degree in BE/BTech/ MCA or equivalent suitable for network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of WAN/LAN and security concepts in enterprise networks.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco devices and security platforms.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN products and network optimization tools.
• Exposure to cloud networking and modern data center designs.
• CCNA/CCNP or higher certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and design network architecture roadmaps aligned to IT strategy.
• Participate in solution design and project execution for networking solutions.
• Collaborate with customer IT teams to ensure network security and compliance.
• Configure and troubleshoot OEM products to ensure SD-WAN/LAN/WLAN operation.
• Update documentation and provide knowledge transfer to team members.
• Maintain up-to-date architecture diagrams and SOPs with vendors.
• Work on complex outages and drive timely resolutions.

• Analysing the business requirement, project scope and developing network design and roadmaps for technology solutions that align with the organization s overall IT strategy and goals.
• Participating in solution design and execution
• Collaborating with Customer IT teams, to ensure that the Design solutions meet the organization s network security requirements.
• Configuring and troubleshooting different OEM Products, to ensure proper operation of the SD-WAN/LAN/WLAN according to the architectural design and standards.
• Aligning with the changing Network solutions and architectures to keep up with the changing business needs, technologies and industry standards.
• Monitoring the performance of the solution to identify and resolve any issues, and making adjustments as needed to improve performance.
• Documenting the solution and providing training to other team members as needed.
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation of the solutions and architectures
• Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure that the solution integrates with existing systems.
• Interface with Vendors regarding evaluation, implementation, and support of deployed network gear
