Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking a Technical Specialist-DevOps to join our Hyderabad/Bangalore delivery teams. You will manage end-to-end DevOps, SRE and production support, with hands-on work on AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform and Jenkins.

You will optimize MTTR/MTTA/MTTD, implement CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate across ITIL-aligned processes in a 24x7 production environment. Strong scripting and monitoring skills required.

Qualifications

• Experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Production Support.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Jenkins.
• Strong knowledge of WebLogic, Tomcat, Apache, Nginx, and middleware technologies.
• Monitor and manage application availability, performance, and capacity.
• Handle incident, problem, and change management using ServiceNow.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive improvements in MTTR, MTTA, and MTTD.
• Experience with Splunk, New Relic, and proactive monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of Shell/Python scripting for automation and operational efficiency.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, source code repositories, and deployment automation.
• Support cloud migration, infrastructure upgrades, patching, and security compliance.
• Understanding of load balancers (F5/AVI), networking, routing, and traffic management.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and 24x7 production support environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running DevOps/SRE operations and production support processes.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Manage cloud-based infrastructure, monitoring, and incident response.
• Collaborate with teams on capacity planning, patching, and security compliance.
• Participate in root cause analysis and service improvements.
