Job summary

Idyllic Services is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable software systems across multiple platforms. You will collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into reliable deployments.

The role requires strong skills in Python, Ruby, and Java, plus Linux scripting, CI/CD with Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation with Ansible/Puppet/Chef. You will mentor juniors in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Experience: 5+ Years
Location: Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore & Chennai
Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using a variety of programming languages, including Python, Ruby, and Java
• Assist with infrastructure management utilizing Ansible, Puppet, and Chef
• Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated software deployment
• Work with IT Automation and DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Git, Jenkins, and SonarQube
• Design and execute automated testing scripts using Selenium
• Assist in the documentation of software development processes and procedures
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers and establish best practices
• Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and stakeholders to identify requirements and develop solutions
• Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Strong knowledge of Python, Ruby, and Java programming languages
• Experience with scripting and Linux operating systems
• Experience with infrastructure management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Git, Jenkins, and SonarQube

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
