Job summary

Birlasoft in Hyderabad seeks a Technical Lead-DevOps to own CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, manage deployments, and drive cloud infrastructure using Terraform/CloudFormation. The role emphasizes secure, automated, scalable release practices and proactive incident response within a fast-paced environment.

You will mentor teams on DevOps best practices, integrate security scans into pipelines, and improve observability to reduce MTTR and toil.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python is mandatory.
• REST APIs design and integration is required.
• Jenkins knowledge is essential for CI/CD pipelines.
• Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure know-how expected.
• Experience with Terraform/CloudFormation and security controls is needed.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end CI/CD pipeline health across build, test and deployment stages.
• Manage deployments, releases, rollbacks and production readiness activities.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform/CloudFormation.
• Ensure secure handling of secrets, certificates, and access controls.
• Lead incident response, infrastructure recovery, and root cause analysis.
• Maintain observability dashboards for proactive monitoring.
• Integrate SAST/DAST and dependency scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
• Enable self-service deployments and mentor teams on DevOps best practices.
• Automate repetitive tasks to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
