Noventiq India, Ltd. is seeking an Azure-focused engineer with 4–8 years of experience to anchor the Azure team.

You will manage complex infrastructure, troubleshoot, and automate workloads with Terraform while guiding junior engineers and bridging between the engineering team and stakeholders. Responsibilities include mentoring L1 engineers, reviewing PowerShell scripts and Terraform modules, leading KT sessions, and driving secure, scalable deployments across Azure IaaS/PaaS, Entra ID, RBAC,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

J ob Overview:

Act as a technical resource and operational anchor for the Azure team.In addition to managing complex infrastructure, troubleshooting, and automatingworkloads with Terraform, this role involves guiding junior engineers, takingownership of project deliveries, and acting as a bridge between the engineeringteam and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and day-to-day mentorship to L1/Juniorcloud engineers.
• Conduct code reviews for PowerShell scripts, CLI automation, andTerraform modules to ensure best practices and formatting consistency.
• Lead Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions and build an internalrepository of technical runbooks to upskill the team.

Operational Leadership & Delivery

• Serve as the primary escalation point for L2 technical incidents,driving rapid troubleshooting, resolution, and comprehensive Root CauseAnalysis (RCA).
• Own small-to-medium project sprints (e.g., a specific migration waveor a security remediation sprint), tracking milestones and ensuring timelydelivery.
• Enforce SLA compliance across the operational queue, ensuring ticketsare prioritized and resolved according to business agreements.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Participate in technical discussions with clients or internalstakeholders to gather requirements and explain technical solutions clearly.
• Collaborate with L3/Cloud Architects to translate design blueprintsinto actionable engineering tasks for the team.

Technical Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
• Configure identity, access management, and role assignments usingAzure Entra ID and RBAC.
• Automate routine provisioning tasks using Azure Automation,PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
• Execute VM resizing, storage scaling, complex network modifications,and subscription migrations (EA/PAYG to CSP).

Optimization, Governance & Security

• Monitor utilization metrics and execute rightsizing, ReservedInstances (RI), and FinOps recommendations.
• Enforce cloud governance by implementing tags and Azure Policiesacross environments.
• Actively remediate VAPT findings and infrastructure vulnerabilitiesusing Microsoft Defender for Cloud.

Disaster Recovery & DevOps (IaC)

• Configure and manage Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery (ASR); leadperiodic DR drills and failover testing.
• Manage user access, Azure Repos administration, and branch policiesin Azure DevOps.
• Utilize and maintain reusable Terraform modules to deploy Azureresources (including Hub-Spoke networks and basic Landing Zones).
• Manage remote state files, Git branching workflows, and resolveTerraform deployment errors.
