Job summary

TECHNA in India is seeking a field-focused technical specialist to promote Aqua feed additives, support trial design, collect data, and collaborate with nutritionists and the marketing team to strengthen product offerings.

You will conduct field trials on Aqua farms, synthesize results, prepare technical reports, deliver presentations to prospects, and help identify new business opportunities while staying current with trends in aqua nutrition.

Qualifications

• 1 to 5 years of experience in relevant field.
• Autonomy and strong market knowledge required.
• Field work enthusiast with good listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nutritional guidance for product application and animal performance.
• Work with nutritionists to develop and optimize feed formulations using the Company’s additives and integrating expertise in feed optimization.
• Design and execute field trials on Aqua farms to validate product performance.
• Synthesize field data to refine Aqua product offerings.
• Assist in preparing technical reports and product documentation with Company experts.
• Support the commercial team to establish relationships with feed manufacturers, nutritionists and key opinion leaders.
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospects.
• Help identify new business opportunities and support sales pitches.
• Coordinate with marketing to improve technical materials and B2B marketing strategies.

Support the promotion of Aqua feed additives and services by providing technical expertise and gathering customer trial data.

Technical Expertise

Deliver nutritional guidance for product application and animal performance

• Work closely with Company nutritionists to develop and optimize feed formulations using the Company’s feed additives and integrating the Company’s expertise in feed optimization.
• Provide recommendations for product application, ensuring they align with both field conditions and the Company’s nutritional strategies.

DATA COLLECTION & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Support Aqua product innovation through trials, research, and field validation

• Work with clients’ RD teams to design and execute field trials on Aqua farms to validate product performance.
• Synthesize field data and input to refine product offerings for the Aqua sector.
• Assist in preparing technical reports and product documentation in collaboration with the Company’s experts.

Customer Engagement

• Support the commercial team to establish strong relationships with feed manufacturers,nutritionists and key opinion leaders and promote Company products
• Assist the commercial team while meeting feed manufacturers (nutritionists, company owners, consultants) to promote the use of Company feed additives in their formulations.
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospects, highlighting the benefits of incorporating the Company’s feed additives into their formulations.
• Help identify new business opportunities and provide technical expertise to support sales pitches and client engagement.
• Host webinars, workshops, and training sessions to educate key stakeholders on the

Collaboration with Marketing Team

Coordinate with the marketing team to improve technical materials, product offerings and B2B marketing strategies.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop product literature, presentations, and technical materials that effectively communicate product benefits to the B2B market.
• Gather customer feedback to refine product offerings and marketing strategies.

Continuous Learning & Industry Trend

Stay up-to-date on trends in Aqua nutrition and feed additives, sharing knowledge with internal and external stakeholders

• Continuously research new developments in Aqua nutrition and feed technology to ensure the Company’s offerings and expertise remain competitive.
• Attend industry conferences, workshops, and networking events to stay informed about the latest trends and innovations.
• Share insights from these events with internal teams to inform future product development and marketing strategies.

Reporting & Documentation

Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, product trials, and market feedback

• Utilize the Company’s CRM system and reporting templates to accurately track activities, customer interactions, and technical support provided.
• Document meetings, customer feedback, and product trials to ensure comprehensive tracking of customer engagement and product adoption.
• Maintain accurate records of all technical interactions with customers and partners to support commercial strategy and customer relationship management.

Qualifications

Hierarchical link: reporting to Aqua Manager.

Required skills: 1 to 5 years of experience, autonomy, good market knowledge, field work enthusiast, good listening, results oriented, problem solver, solution developer, strong follow-up and reporting skills, experience in additives and value-added products will be a plus.

Geographical area: Andhra Pradesh.
