Job summary

SolaX Power India is seeking a skilled Technical Service Engineer with a strong background in solar string inverters to join our team. You will diagnose issues, perform commissioning, and deliver on-site and remote support to ensure optimal performance.

You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams, document activities in the CRM, and train customers on operation and maintenance. This role requires a degree in electrical/electronics/renewable energy and travel up to 70%.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support or field service for solar string inverters.
• Experience diagnosing power electronics and renewable energy systems.
• Hands-on commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of solar inverters.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% for onsite support.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to solar string inverters remotely and on-site.
• Provide prompt and effective technical support to customers via phone, email, or onsite visits.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve issues promptly.
• Perform commissioning, testing, and maintenance of solar string inverter systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, and Product Development to improve product performance and reliability.
• Document all service activities, technical solutions, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
• Train customers and internal teams on the operation and maintenance of solar string inverter systems.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to provide proactive technical support and recommendations.
• Assist in the development of service procedures, technical bulletins, and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support or field service engineering, specifically with solar string inverters.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to power electronics and renewable energy systems.
• Hands-on experience with commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of solar string inverters.
• Strong understanding of electrical and electronic principles as applied to solar PV systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite support and commissioning (up to 70% travel may be required).
