Responsibilities

• Lead a 2–3 person technical sales team to expand domestic business.
• Prepare techno-commercial offers and secure orders with optimized solutions.
• Forecast sales numbers via CRM tools.
• Interact with government utilities, EPCs and channel partners regularly.
• Promote Siemens solutions, products and services.
• Coordinate with SCM for negotiations with suppliers/vendors.
• Coordinate with PLM/R&D on topics like Cyber Security and Digitalization.
• Demonstrate strong customer engagement and relations; support pre-sale activities.
• Coordinate with execution teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Keep abreast of competitor products and solutions.

Position: Technical Sales Support Team Leader
Department: SI EA - PA Sol
Location: Gurugram, Haryana

From our SI EA - PA Sol Business Unit, India, Siemens are looking for a Sales Professional who will be responsible to lead a team of 2-3 no’s technical sales professionals to expand business in Domestic market.

What will you manage?

• Lead a team to expand business in Domestic market.
• Responsible for pre-sales and sales activities like preparation of techno-commercial offer and secure the order by providing best optimized solution to meet customer requirement.
• Planning and forecasting of Sales numbers via CRM tools.
• Responsible for visit or interaction with various Government or Private Utilities, EPC’s and Channel partner on regular basis to discuss technical requirement and offerings.
• Promote Siemens Solution, Product and Services.
• Co-ordinate with SCM to do negotiation with internal or external suppliers /vendors.
• Coordinate with PLM/R&D departments for special topics like Cyber Security, Digitalization, PMU/PDC, PMS System etc.
• The ability to demonstrate strong customer engagement and relationship development skills.
• Technical coordination on pre-sale phases for spec-in activities, product demonstration and approvals etc.
• Co-ordinate with execution team for smooth execution of project.
• Knowledge of competitor’s product portfolio and technical solution.

Who are we looking for?

A candidate with the following features:

• 10-15 years’ experience in sales or tendering for control, protection and automation of electrical equipment is required specially in Substations or Power plants preferably in Domestic market.
• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Fluent in English (both written/spoken).
• Professional expertise in Grid applications like CRP, SAS, PMS, VMS, AMS, Self-healing, Distribution automation etc.
• Good knowledge of Numerical relays, RTU, Gateways, OWS, EWS and communication protocols like MODBUS, IEC 61850, IEC 101/104, OPC protocol etc.
• Good knowledge of interpretation and application of the electrotechnical languages, symbology, and IEC standards.
• Excellent Networking, Communication and Presentation skills.
• Available to travel for national and international business trip.
• Self-motivated, quick and assertive.
• Calm, collected and collaborative work well under pressure and comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments.
