Role Description

The Technical Sales Manager – Polymer Processing is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. This position is responsible for driving sales of polymer and rubber additives by identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. The role involves providing technical guidance on product selection and application in polymer processing, conducting product presentations and trials, and responding to customer queries with timely technical support. The Technical Sales Manager will collaborate with manufacturing and R&D teams to align customer requirements with product capabilities, prepare proposals and quotations, and track sales performance against targets. Regular field visits, market research, and competitor analysis are expected to ensure proactive business development and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage end-to-end sales processes, with strong skills in Technical Sales and Sales within polymer or rubber industries.
• Experience in Account Management, including maintaining and growing key customer relationships and handling commercial negotiations.
• Background in Technical Support, with the capacity to understand polymer processing applications and guide customers on product usage.
• Strong Customer Service skills, including responsiveness, problem-solving, and maintaining professional communication.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Prior experience in polymer additives, rubber compounding, or related manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency in MS Office with the ability to prepare technical reports, presentations, and sales documentation.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work on-site and conduct regular customer visits.
