Job summary

TechOrbit Solutions Private Limited is seeking a Technical Project Manager to own end-to-end OpenText project and program delivery in Pune. You will be accountable for scope, schedule, budget, presales and quality across implementations, migrations, and managed services engagements.

You will act as the primary delivery escalation point for clients and bridge between Practice/Presales, Delivery Teams, and Resource Management, driving Agile/hybrid delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years IT project/program delivery management.
• 5+ years delivering OpenText engagements.
• PMP / Prince2 / Agile-Scrum delivery frameworks.
• Experience with PSA/delivery tools (Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet).
• Experience in BFSI, Government, or Manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own project governance: status reporting, RAID logs, steering committee updates, SLA/KPI adherence.
• Drive resource planning and staffing with RMG for OpenText consultants, architects, and developers.
• Manage client relationships at delivery level; risk communication, escalation handling.
• Ensure delivery quality and compliance against OpenText standards and contracts.
• Track and report project P&L — effort burn, margin, change requests, revenue recognition.
• Partner with Presales on scoping, estimation, and SOW for new OpenText opportunities.
• Mentor and performance-manage OpenText delivery consultants and leads.
• Drive Agile/hybrid delivery adoption and continuous improvement across engagements.

TechOrbit Solutions is a leading enterprise technology consulting firm (SAP Gold Partner, OpenText Silver Partner (300+ consultants, 150+ projects). We're looking for a Technical Project Manager (OpenText) who owns end-to-end OpenText project and program delivery for OpenText BU — accountable for scope, schedule, budget, presales and quality across implementation, migration, and managed-services engagements. Acts as the primary delivery escalation point for clients and the internal bridge between Practice/Presales, Delivery Teams, and Resource Management.

Responsibilities

• Own project governance: status reporting, RAID logs, steering committee updates, and SLA/KPI adherence
• Drive resource planning and staffing with RMG for OpenText-skilled consultants, architects, and developers
• Manage client relationships at delivery level — expectation setting, risk communication, escalation handling
• Ensure delivery quality and compliance against OpenText implementation standards and client contractual commitments
• Track and report project P&L — effort burn, margin, change requests, and revenue recognition
• Partner with Presales on scoping, estimation, and SOW definition for new OpenText opportunities
• Mentor and performance-manage OpenText delivery consultants and project leads
• Drive adoption of Agile/hybrid delivery methodology and continuous improvement across engagements

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in IT project/program delivery management, with 5+ years specifically delivering OpenText engagements
• Hands-on exposure to OpenText product lines listed above, in an implementation or delivery-oversight capacity
• Strong command of PMP / Prince2 / Agile-Scrum delivery frameworks
• Experience delivering into BFSI, Government, or Manufacturing client environments preferred
• Familiarity with SAP ECC/S4HANA landscapes where OpenText integrates (for archiving/ILM engagements)
• Excellent client-facing communication and escalation management skills
• Experience with PSA/delivery tools (Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent)

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Prior experience within an OpenText Partner / SI organization (not end-client side)
• OpenText certifications (Content Server, xECM, or Business Network)
• Exposure to managed services / AMS delivery models for OpenText post-go-live support
• Prior P&L or margin ownership at project or account level
