Beiersdorf India Service Private Limited in Mumbai seeks a Project Manager & Technical Product Owner to join the Integrated Manufacturing team and drive the evolution of our manufacturing application landscape.

You will act as Product Owner for a portfolio of manufacturing applications, connectivity solutions, and digital factory platforms while leading the successful delivery of transformation initiatives across our global manufacturing network.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science or engineering (Automation or Mechatronics).
• Experience managing software development projects.
• Experience with application technical product ownership.
• 5+ years as IT engineer or similar in a project role.
• Experience managing a portfolio of integrated applications.

Responsibilities

• Act as Product Owner for a portfolio of manufacturing applications and digital factory platforms.

Your Tasks

We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager & Technical Product Owner to join the Integrated Manufacturing team and drive the evolution of our manufacturing application landscape.

In this role, you will act as Product Owner for a portfolio of manufacturing applications, connectivity solutions, and digital factory platforms while leading the successful delivery of transformation initiatives across our global manufacturing network.

You will collaborate closely with manufacturing sites, process owners, engineering teams, digital manufacturing specialists, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable, scalable, and value-generating solutions that support Integrated Manufacturing processes worldwide.

Your Tasks

• Responsibility for digital solutions with a focus on applications supporting factory processes:
  • concept development
  • requirement definition
  • supplier selection
  • testing and commissioning
  • operational support
• Drive the evolution of the Integrated Manufacturing application landscape.
• Ensure seamless integration between manufacturing systems, enterprise platforms, and digital factory solutions.
• Continuous further development of IT systems regarding new functionalities in all manufacturing areas of our production sites
• Evaluate emerging technologies and solution providers to support the Integrated Manufacturing roadmap.
• Act as a key member of an agile team to clarify requirements for user stories, self-organize and complete stories and lead the realization in the respective solutions

Your Profile

1. Master’s degree in computer science or engineering (Automation or Mechatronics engineering)
2. Experience in managing software development projects
3. Experience with application technical product ownership
4. 5+ years of working experience as IT engineer, application development project manager or in a comparable role
5. Strong experience managing a portfolio of integrated applications
6. Project management skills in an intercultural working environment
7. Strategic thinking skills; act with entrepreneurship; able to balance interests; result‑oriented and performance focus
8. High level of initiative, team‑oriented working methods, social skills and hands‑on mentality
9. Experience in managing multi‑stakeholder environments and complex digital project engagements with a preferred global exposure
10. English business fluency
