Job description

The position of Technical Project Manager requires a seasoned professional with the experience, passion, and capability to lead India-based development teams and manage the successful delivery of multiple complex, high-impact projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end execution, from sprint planning through release, ensuring alignment with global stakeholders across time zones. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivery leadership, driving Agile execution, resolving cross-functional challenges, and steering distributed teams toward shared objectives in a fast-paced environment. The individual should demonstrate expertise in Agile project management, sprint governance, risk mitigation, and release coordination. They must be able to inspire and guide their teams, promote operational excellence, and foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and oversee the complete delivery lifecycle for offshore project teams, ensuring alignment with scope, schedules, and milestones in coordination with TPOs, Program Managers and Clients.
• Drive project execution and ensure thorough planning and delivery of all project-related tasks, including organizing meetings, documenting meeting minutes, tracking action items, providing weekly status updates to clients and leadership, and managing timesheet recording and invoicing.
• Demonstrate strong hands‑on experience with technologies like Microsoft Fabric Azure Databricks and Python.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable data platform architectures aligning with enterprise standards for performance, security, and scalability.
• Define architecture frameworks covering data ingestion, transformation, governance, and analytics layers.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to data engineers and junior team members.
• Support the team in resolving complex technical challenges, performance issues, and optimization problems.
• Monitor team workload and sprint progress and provide regular updates and actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Coordinate release planning and execution, manage deployment activities, and handle issues like rollbacks or blockers.
• Identify, mitigate, and raise risks or blockers affecting delivery timelines and team efficiency.
• Plan and manage User Acceptance Testing by working with stakeholders, prioritizing feedback, and ensuring timely resolution of UAT issues.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance delivery processes to improve efficiency and align with global execution standards.
• Document project lessons learned and disseminate these insights to internal team members to promote continuous process improvement and knowledge sharing.

Minimum Requirements

• 10+ years' experience with at least 3 years' experience in Project Life Cycle Management.
• Proficiency in Python, Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks. Power BI experience is a plus.
• Expertise in Agile/Scrum frameworks and experience with tools like Azure DevOps and JIRA.
• Strong stakeholder engagement & management experience across distributed teams.
• Background in managing client-facing delivery [RN1]and enterprise-scale projects.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work seamlessly across roles, teams, and functions.
• Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, planning and change management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Fabrics and/or Azure Databricks certifications.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with US or Europe-based teams in a hybrid or offshore delivery model.
• Proven ability to mentor and inspire team members, promoting a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.
