Job summary

HYT Engineering in Pune seeks an experienced Manager of Technical Projects to lead machine manufacturing initiatives including CNC machines, VMCs, and SPMs. You will coordinate across design, production, procurement, quality, assembly, electrical, automation, and vendors to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality compliance.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in technical projects, strong leadership, and expertise in GD&T, BOM management, and machine tool design interpretation.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing of CNC Lathes, VMC, Turning Centers, Boring Machines, Grinding Machines, and SPMs.
• Proficiency in machine tools manufacturing processes, GD&T, BOM management, and SAP systems.
• Ability to interpret Machine Tool Design, BOMs, technical specifications, and Mechanical Design Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, and deliver machine manufacturing projects.

Role & responsibilities

The Manager of Technical Projects is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and successfully delivering machine manufacturing projects involving CNC machines, VMCs, Turning Centers, Boring Machines, Surface Grinding Machines, Spindle Design & Manufacturing, and other special-purpose machine (SPM) projects. The role requires coordination across design, production, purchase, quality, assembly, electrical, automation, vendors, and customers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards as per project requirements for HYT Engineering.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in manufacturing of CNC Lathes, VMC, Turning Centers, Boring Machines, Grinding Machines, and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), Automation, multi product, Heat treatment & welding Machines etc.
• Proficiency in machine tools manufacturing process, knowledge of GD & T, machine process and machinery assembly, BOM management & SAP systems etc.
• Ability to interpret Machine Tool Design, BOMs, technical specifications & Mechanical Design Engineering
• Minimum 10+ years in a leadership Technical projects functions.
