Job summary

Flentas Technologies Private Limited in Pune is seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager to lead complex technical projects, align business and technical goals, and ensure on-time delivery with quality.

You will coordinate with developers, DevOps, data engineers, and QA, apply Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban), manage risks and budgets, and provide clear progress reports to stakeholders while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 7 to 13 years of experience in project management for technical/software projects.
• Proficiency in Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and Scrum Master experience.
• Technical background to communicate with software and IT teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives and timelines with stakeholders.
• Oversee day-to-day management to meet deadlines, budgets and quality.
• Serve as primary contact between business and technical teams; provide updates.
• Implement Agile practices: Scrum or Kanban, with sprint planning and stand-ups.

Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Location: Pune

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and timelines while coordinating with stakeholders to align business and technical goals
• Execution & Delivery: Oversee the day-to-day management of technical projects, ensuring that teams meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, developers, and other technical teams, providing clear updates and managing expectations.
• Agile Methodologies: Implement agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban, running sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies. Resolve any project issues that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, DevOps, data engineers, and QA to ensure smooth project progress and clear communication.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, ensuring project transparency.
• Budget & Resource Management: Manage project budgets and allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 7 to 13 years of experience in project management, with a focus on managing technical or software development projects.
• Project Management Tools: Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
• Agile & Scrum: Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience as a Scrum Master.
• Technical Background: Working knowledge of software development, cloud technologies, or IT infrastructure to effectively communicate with technical teams.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to navigate complex problems.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
• Experience with cloud-based projects (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
