Job summary

Iris Software, Inc. seeks an experienced Delivery Manager to oversee software services delivery for a commercial banking client in India. You will drive delivery quality, predictability, and stakeholder satisfaction, coordinating multiple projects and service offerings.

Lead governance, promote evidence-based certification, and push Copilot adoption as KPI. Strong hands-on Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices expertise required to guide architecture and delivery decisions.

Job Description

• Overall delivery management responsibility for all software services delivery engagements (i.e., multiple projects and service offerings) for a commercial banking client.
• Ensure the account delivers outcomes across delivery quality and predictability and engagement outcomes such as customer satisfaction and people engagement.
• Establish and implement an effective engineering and delivery governance framework for the account with support from delivery excellence teams and practices.
• Manage senior stakeholder expectations with clear and timely communication and reporting, internally (IRIS) and externally (customer organization and partners, if any).
• Ensure delivery health through periodic reviews and proactive support and intervention to project managers/leads.
• Ensure SIT and UAT defects are minimized and that no developer oversight defects are introduced in releases.
• Ensure coding checklists are followed by every developer.
• Validate and follow standards, unit test case documents, and attach unit testing outcomes as evidence.
• Implement evidence-based certification for every developer, including random spot checks across requirements, component design, code, unit test cases, and execution outcomes.
• Analyze common code review comments and educate team members on common mistakes and how to avoid them.
• Encourage testing in SIT environments before SIT officially begins to cover integration test cases.
• Provide thought leadership in one or more areas across delivery, methodology, technology or business domain.
• Adopt Copilot across all stages of SDLC as a KPI.
• Periodically assess the RAG status of individuals in the team and proactively create plans to upskill and cross-skill.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE/Spring Boot.
