The ideal candidate should have a Postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and 10 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in CAD software and fluency in English are required. Some international travel may be necessary.

Job description

The Technical Project Engineer ensures the successful execution of assigned studies and realizations until project completion, guaranteeing adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards. You will coordinate your team, partners, and subcontractors for these studies.

Your key tasks include:

• Creating a detailed study schedule aligned with the project's global timeline.
• Engaging with the engineering team and managing project resources under your supervision.
• Defining subcontracting needs, drafting technical specifications, and overseeing these services.
• Overseeing and contributing to documentation for procurement, manufacturing, wiring, programming, testing, assembly, and commissioning, in line with technical contractual specifications.
• Validating suppliers and participating in equipment inspections.
• Coordinating test activities in the workshop for assigned equipment.
• Supporting on-site activities during installation and commissioning phases.
• Providing technical field support during deployments.
• Documenting project experience for Sales, Project Management, and Product teams.
• Assisting proposal managers or product leaders in drafting preliminary technical offers, cost estimates, and clarification meetings with clients.
• Contributing to the development and updates of standard product technical documentation, proposing improvements in collaboration with Product Managers.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Postgraduate (PG) with a mechanical focus, 10 years of experience in the design of steel industrial equipment or special machines.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidEdge/SolidWorks).
• Knowledge of calculation tools.
• Leadership, teamwork, planning skills, adaptability, rigor, and independence.
• Occasional international travel (short to medium durations).
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
