Job summary

ICF Bengaluru office seeks a Civil/Environmental Engineer with hands-on urban infrastructure experience to support planning, DPR review, field inspections and progress tracking. You will help ensure quality and coordinate with contractors and municipal engineers through documentation and reporting.

The role emphasizes collaboration, capacity-building activities, and alignment with project schedules, with opportunities to contribute to reporting and technical reviews for municipal projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 5 years of urban infra or municipal project experience.
• DPR review, construction monitoring, site supervision, coordination with ULBs/government.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and implementation of technical and infrastructure activities.
• Prepare and review DPRs, drawings, specs and reports.
• Conduct field inspections to monitor quality and progress.
• Compare site progress with approved plans and schedules.
• Document site observations and corrective actions.
• Support measurement and reporting of physical progress.
• Coordinate with Project Coordinator, contractors, consultants and engineers.
• Provide inputs to progress reviews and reports.
• Maintain field records and photographic documentation.
• Assist with CITIIS platform reporting and capacity-building activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support planning and implementation of technical and infrastructure activities
• Assist in preparation and review of DPRs, drawings, specifications and reports
• Undertake field inspections to monitor quality and physical progress

• Document site observations, constraints and corrective-action needs
• Support measurement and reporting of physical progress

• Maintain field records, inspection notes and photographic documentation
• Support CITIIS platform reporting and technical capacity-building activities

Required skills and abilities:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in urban infrastructure or municipal projects.
• Relevant backgrounds include DPR review, construction monitoring, site supervision, quality monitoring, progress reporting and coordination with ULBs or government agencies.
• Hands on experience in Urban infrastructure implementation; DPR and technical document review; site monitoring; physical progress tracking; quality monitoring; technical documentation; contractor and government coordination.
