Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Technical Project Manager in India to lead end-to-end IT delivery and analytics programs. You will govern timelines, scope and risks, coordinate with product owners, BAs and engineering teams, and report progress to leadership.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in IT delivery, data engineering or analytics programs.
  • 3+ years as Technical Project Manager.
  • Experience managing distributed teams onshore/offshore and with vendors.
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management practices and Agile.
  • Proven planning, risk management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple parallel workstreams.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery governance for assigned workstreams (timeline, scope, risks).
  • Track and report milestones, deliverables and dependencies.
  • Provide clear status communication to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and resolve delivery blockers and cross-team dependencies.
  • Escalate risks early when timelines or quality are at risk.
  • Track and drive improvements using metrics (velocity, throughput, defects).
  • Collaborate with Product Owner, BA and Engineering team.
  • Drive structured reporting (weekly, bi-weekly leadership forums).
  • Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks.
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any directives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end delivery governance for assigned workstreams (timeline, scope, risks)
  • Track and report: Milestones, Deliverables, and Dependencies
  • Provide clear status communication to leadership and stakeholders

  • Drive structured reporting (weekly, bi-weekly leadership forums)
  • Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks. Evaluate emerging trends to drive continuous improvement and strategic innovation.
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 7+ years in IT delivery / Data Engineering / Analytics programs
  • 3+ years as Technical Project Manager
  • Experience managing distributed teams (onshore/offshore + vendors)
  • Solid knowledge of Project Management practices and Agile
  • Proven solid in Planning & tracking, Risk management and Stakeholder communication
  • Proven ability to handle multiple parallel workstreams
