• 5+ years building trusted relationships across engineering, business, and vendor teams.
• 5+ years IT software engineering delivery or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Agile methodologies and backlog management.
• 3+ years writing roadmaps, workflows and UI wireframes.
• Experience delivering on KPIs, quality metrics and performance indicators.
• Experience in agile delivery at scale with risk mitigation.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Elicit, understand, and champion the objective of the business and technical requirements and translate them into system functional scope and requirements
• Understand and apply software development methodologies
• Leverage AI tools in your day-to-day work and help incorporate AI tools within your application
• Provide clear documentation about features and shepherd them through the development process
• Own reviewing the functionality for acceptance and ensure quality and communication about the features
• Provide demos to stakeholders as needed, including sprint demos
• Develop solid relationships with the Scrum team and mentor junior TPO team members
• Be responsible for product capabilities, understand how changes impact them, and maintain their continued quality and integrity
• Create and deliver high-quality system solutions for applications, products, and services across technology functions
• Consult with users and technology specialists to define business processes and supporting information systems
• Perform analysis and serve as a business liaison to understand and refine business requirements
• Provide technical support in developing cost-effective systems that meet user requirements
• Ensure systems work cohesively while enforcing enterprise standards and methods
• Support current system improvements, maintenance activities, and new system development
• Review the work of others, develop innovative approaches, and serve as a sought-after subject matter expert

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science s, Product Management , or a related field
• 13+ years in Product Management, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience leading large scale tech initiatives with proven ability to Identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks across platforms or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of technical product management or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience building trusted relationships across engineering, business, and vendor teams or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in IT software engineering delivery or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience with Agile methodologies, backlog management, and iterative product development as role is responsible for user experience, non-user function, and functional specifications for the product or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience writing clear documents such as roadmaps, workflows, process flows, business & system requirements, and user interface wireframes or equivalent experience
• Experience with delivering on KPIs, quality metrics, and performance indicators
• Experience in agile delivery at scale, including backlog management, dependency management, and proactive risk identification and mitigation
• Solid leadership background
• Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of AI experience with AI frameworks and services for decision-making, automation, and efficiency improvements, and understanding of AI governance, ethical AI practices, and compliance requirements
• Experience and skills in relationship management and active listening as candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with business and technology partners
• Experience supporting or productizing a multi tenant platform, including conceptual understanding of tenancy models and operational impacts
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders to drive alignment without direct authority
• Experience influencing peers to drive alignment without direct authority
• Experience with Agile delivery models and product management tooling (Aha, Rally, etc.)
• Familiarity with regulated environments/products and compliance driven product delivery
• Proven understanding of the healthcare system (authorizations, claims, eligibility, referrals, provider, etc.), preferably in the Optum Tech environments
• Proven solid written and verbal communication skills for articulating product vision and outcome-based roadmap aligned with business objectives and modernization goals
• Proven success driving product strategy, roadmaps, and sexecution at scale
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex product portfolios and cross team dependencies
