Job summary

Jobtailor in Bengaluru, India seeks an experienced Project Manager to design, build, and maintain project plans across scope, schedule, resources, dependencies and budget.

You will lead gathering of product requirements, align delivery across multiple teams, negotiate priorities, and drive recovery strategies when schedules slip; strong data analytics will support cost reporting and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience managing technology projects at product-focused companies.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering technology or computer science (BSEE/BSCS).
• PMP and Agile Scrum certifications are preferred.
• Experience with technology product development is highly desired.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the project plan including scope, schedule, resources, dependencies, and budget;
• Lead the gathering of product requirements and project scope in a holistic manner across multiple teams or business functions;
• Negotiate challenging priorities and navigate complex organizational dynamics to establish delivery plans and schedules that are in alignment with the objectives set forth by the organization and the company.
• Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet delivery schedules.
• Monitor progress to plan and design a recovery strategy if project deviates from delivery schedules;
• Provide data analytics to support operational, process improvement, and cost reporting.

Requirements

• BSEE, BSCS or other Engineering Technology collegiate degree
• Desired PMP certification
• Desired Agile ScrumMaster certifications (CSM, A-CSM, CSP-SM)
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience (4+ years with master’s degree) managing projects at technology-based companies or technical domains
• Technology product development experience is highly desired.
