Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager for the Geo Intel and Escalations team in Bengaluru or Hyderabad, India. You will lead cross‑functional programs, define requirements, manage schedules, and communicate with executives while balancing technical tradeoffs.

The role emphasizes abuse prevention, incident management, forensics, and risk mitigation across major events, with exposure to security and OSINT. Location is Bengaluru/Hyderabad with on‑site work expected.

Qualifications

• Produce reports to enable partner teams to develop mitigation plans.
• Lead risk mitigation programs for major events.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop vulnerabilities subject matter expertise.
• Act as Incident Manager to contain abuse attacks and unplanned events.

Minimum qualifications:

Preferred qualifications:

• 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience in analysis, SQL, incident management and vendor management.
• Experience in an abuse fighting or security domain and incident or crisis management protocol and ability to operate under pressure during a crisis.
• Experience in computer security industry such as detection research, malware analysis, threat intelligence, cyber incident response, or Penetration Testing/Red Team and Open Source Intelligence Gathering OSINT) based investigations.
• Experience with Geo data management.

Responsibilities

• Drive forensic root cause analysis of abuse attacks and design processes to optimize the impact of incident investigations.
• Produce reports and communications to enable partner teams to develop mitigation plans.
• Drive risk mitigation programs for significant events (elections, social unrest etc).
• Partner with engineering teams to develop subject matter expertise about system vulnerabilities.
• Act as an Incident Manager to contain abuse attacks/unplanned events.
