Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager for the Data Cloud in Hyderabad, India. You will lead multi-disciplinary programs, align stakeholders, plan requirements, identify risks, and manage schedules while articulating tradeoffs to engineers and execs.

Join the Data Cloud team building analytics, databases, and BI capabilities, driving roadmap, adoption, and growth across data stack components in Google Cloud Platform.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Set the direction for a program by outlining goals and objectives and defining governance.
  • Drive consistency between Cloud processes and central processes, with clear cross-team communication.
  • Enable execution across multiple teams and drive delivery across the portfolio of Cloud products and solutions.
  • Engage with engineering leaders and TPM groups to improve processes, manage OKRs, and ensure timely releases.
  • Contribute to Data Cloud initiatives within Google Cloud Platform community.

Our area is building infrastructure and products for customers to drive insights and intelligence from their data. You will be joining the Data Cloud Technical Program Management Team, with responsibilities to drive the planning, execution and growth of Data Cloud products and infrastructure. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on multiple Data Cloud products/features. You will closely partner with senior engineering leaders and a collaborative team building features across various data stack elements. You will help shape the roadmap of products/features that you work on helping drive customer adoption and growth.

Responsibilities
  • Set the direction for a program by outlining goals and objectives, evaluating and running multiple projects, organizing cross-project work within the program, and defining program controls/governance/standards.
  • Drive consistency between Cloud processes and central processes. Bring visibility and strengthen communication across the teams.
  • Enable execution across multiple teams and drive delivery across the complete portfolio of Cloud products and solutions.
  • Engage with engineering directors, product leaders and other Technical Program Manager (TPM) groups, to streamline processes, simplify execution, manage objectives and key results, release on time, bring tooling for efficiencies and help the teams you are engaged with in execution.
  • Contribute to various initiatives in Data Cloud and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Technical Program Manager community.
