Job summary

Google Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead data center delivery and engineering initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams across mechanical, electrical and construction disciplines.

You will own program outcomes, drive strategic plans, and manage complex infrastructure projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to safety and quality standards globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program management.
• 8 years of experience designing, constructing, or managing infrastructure projects.
• Experience creating infrastructure designs (e.g., telecom, electrical, mechanical), drawing sets for builds, and remodels of data center networking spaces.

Responsibilities

• Work with partners, customers and key stakeholders to develop and articulate plans and long term strategy. Initiate new programs in response to need and be the catalyst for winning support and driving them through the execution phase.
• Manage various programs of work, engage teams and engineers, set the pace for development, deployment and delivery of data center services and infrastructure. Develop and prepare project documentation, process maps, presentations and tracking reports to provide detailed current status of each project.
• Use technical judgment to drive project delivery, technology reviews, challenge proposals and build consensus.
• Analyze services performance and system performance data and translate into recommendations and actionable plans.
• Serve as an escalation point for our external partners and coordinate efforts with all of the internal stakeholders across the globe.

• Experience in project management, comfort with operating in a high-paced, changing work environment, and ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks, manage time efficiently and navigate ambiguity.
• Knowledge of green field civil construction, construction permit and statutory requirements, and local industry standards.
• Working knowledge of finance as applied to project/program management.
