Job summary

Tekion Corp is seeking a Technical Program Manager II in Chennai to coordinate mid-to-large scale initiatives. You will work with Engineering, Product, QA and other teams to drive on-time delivery and risk mitigation in a fast-paced cloud-native environment.

Responsibilities include leading agile ceremonies, maintaining dashboards and documentation, and mentoring TPM peers. 4–6 years in TPM and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in technical program management or related fields.
• Strong understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies.
• Experience managing software or platform initiatives from concept to delivery.
• Proficient with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end execution of technical programs from planning to delivery.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product and cross-functional teams to define milestones.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, blockers; escalate as needed.
• Lead agile ceremonies: sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups.
• Maintain program docs, timelines, dashboards, stakeholder communications.
• Support continuous improvement within the TPM function.
• Mentor and align across the broader TPM team.

Job Introduction

The Technical Program Manager II leads the coordination and execution of mid-to-large-scale technical initiatives, working cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, QA, and other teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. This role is responsible for managing project timelines, mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, technical fluency, and the ability to lead cross-team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end execution of technical programs, from planning through delivery, ensuring goals are met on time and within scope


• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and cross-functional teams to define requirements, milestones, and success criteria


• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and blockers across teams, escalating issues as needed


• Lead agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups for assigned programs


• Maintain program documentation, timelines, dashboards, and stakeholder communications


• Support continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements within the TPM function


• Contribute to knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and cross-functional alignment within the broader TPM team

Basic Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in technical program management or related fields
