Job summary

Snapmint in Bengaluru seeks an experienced software leader to own the end-to-end development lifecycle of complex solutions, manage high-impact projects, and ensure timely delivery with high quality.

You will collaborate with product managers to define engineering roadmaps, mentor cross‑functional teams across engineering, design, and QA, and promote best practices in agile processes, documentation, and customer‑facing features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in CS or related field; MBA a plus.
• 2+ years hands-on software development with 6+ years leading cross-functional teams.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Own the overall development lifecycle of solutions and manage complex projects with significant organizational impact.
• Collaborate with product managers to define and finalize engineering roadmaps aligned with the organization's business goals.
• Work closely with engineers and engineering managers to develop accurate estimations, create execution plans, and ensure timely delivery.
• Establish and promote best practices for software development, documentation, design, and quality assurance.
• Ensure that technical designs meet business and functional requirements while maintaining high-quality standards and delivering within tight timelines.
• Drive project management activities, including prioritization, project and feature planning, stakeholder management, and tracking external commitments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of technical education and professional experience. An MBA is a plus.
• 2+ years of hands‑on software development experience, along with 6+ years of experience building and leading strong cross‑functional teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working with Agile frameworks.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and usage patterns, with a good understanding of Android and iOS application development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline, along with an MBA from a top‑tier university.
• Strong business acumen combined with a solid technical vision.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Deep understanding of software development processes and proven experience delivering software products on time.
• Exceptional customer relationship and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to identify the underlying requirements behind feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering teams to deliver optimal solutions within aggressive timelines.
